NIDSM is Next Generation Integrated Digital Service Management Framework and guidelines to adopt the Service Management for a Digital Enterprise. NIDSM is created by Praveen Challa who has been working in Service Management area for 15 years and had helped Organizations transform from traditional ITSM to Digital Service Management.
NIDSM offers Service Management experts to collaborate and define much more matured Integrated Service Management for Digital Enterprises.

What is NISDM

IT Service Management (ITSM) helps enterprises in delivering end-to-end IT services that are aligned to their business goals. Many organizations (figures from reports to be added) across the globe have begun to adapt ITSM, paving the way for digital transformation. However, to unleash the digital potential, enterprises have to leverage IT to drive and support the business services rather than isolating it. This allows enterprises to develop integrated business processes and services thereby ensuring a refined focus on business objectives and enhanced user satisfaction.

NIDSM Framework is an approach that would help enterprises to elevate ITSM to the next level in the digital path. It takes into account the correlation among design, operation and support, and focuses on delivering end-to-end integrated services across various functions of the organizations.

The framework has three major elements such as

  • Integrated Service Design
  • Integrated Service Operations and Optimization
  • Integrated Service Communication and Support

Besides these, the framework also comprises of ITIL principles, Service Integration and Management (SIAM) and DevOps practices, providing necessary IT integrations required for merging IT services with business services.

Transform from Traditional ITIL to NIDSM

ITIL is a set of practices that help enterprises to deliver IT services effectively. As the recent focus is shifting towards integration of IT services with core processes, IT system becomes complex, making it difficult for the enterprises to rely only on traditional ITSM. However, the resulting complexity can be addressed by combining ITIL principles with the three main components of the framework, to facilitate integration of services from design to support.

Praveen has completed his Bachelor of Technology (Btech) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Electronics and Instrumentation followed by Master of Science (MS) from International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), in Networking and Telecommunications.

Mr. Shiva - Chief Technology Officer

Shiva has completed his Master of Science from International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Pune.
